Welcome to the Griffin Foundation / Children Reaching for the Sky Technology Department. We provide high-tech services for students, and staff . This includes T1 filtered Internet access, file and print services, Web presence, and instructional services. We boast 17 brand-new IBM computers in our main computer lab, 9 Little Tikes Explorer computers in our Kindergarten labs, and 20 Administration / Instructional computers on a wireless network. With the exception of the Kinder labs, all of our machines run Windows XP Professional.
We provide high-speed Internet access for students 1^st-6^th grade through a Web cache / Filter. This protects the students from inappropriate content while at school. Instruction Your child has the opportunity to learn state of the art software packages, such as Office XP. We also instruct the kids in the operation of Windows XP and the Internet. These abilities are essential for secondary education, and are assets in the workplace.

As mentioned before, we use Office XP applications: Word Powerpoint Excel FrontPage Publisher In the Kindergarten labs, we use Hooked on Phonics, and The Learning Company software. The latter provides a class supplement for reading, telling time, story telling, beginning math, colors and shapes, and intro to geography.
